Josh Allen is coming in with an assist.
After Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed how he dropped the ball when trying to hang out with Taylor Swift, fellow NFL star Josh offered him some pro tips.
When asked his advice for dating "superstar talent," Josh quipped during an Aug. 3 interview with FanDuel TV that the best move is certainly "not friendship bracelets." (Translation to Travis: You're on your own, kid.)
But even with that rookie mistake, the Buffalo Bills quarterback was shocked that Travis, 33, wasn't able to give his number to Taylor, 32, at one of her recent Eras Tour stops.
"I'm surprised though," said Josh, who is dating actress Hailee Steinfeld, a friend of Taylor's. "It's hard to say no to Travis Kelce."
Last month, Travis revealed that he tried to shoot his shot with the pop star at her Kansas City show—but his play was intercepted.
"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis said on his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. "So I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."
Naturally, he had a game plan, explaining, "I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it."
Jason needed to know: "Your number as in 87 or your phone number?" Travis teased, "You know which one."
Maybe she'll be ready for it at another show.
