Even heroes need a hug sometimes.
Emergency 911 dispatch workers in Nelson County, Kentucky, received a heartwarming visit from Charley, a trained therapy dog. Charley is a working member of ROG The Dog, an animal-assisted therapy program from FirstNet, Built with AT&T.
The Response Operations Group (ROG) is led by a team of former first responders who visit emergency response workers across the United States with their fleet of trained Labradoodles and Goldendoodles. The ROG visit to Nelson County was organized to help first responders cope with two local community tragedies.
